Class of 1972 loses Brad Miller
Obituary
Brad Miller (JMHS Class of 1972) passed away on Sunday morning, March 7th.
He had lymphoma and had recently undergone a bone marrow transplant.
Cindy Kelle plans to send an afghan with a "Friends" poem woven into it from his JMHS friends and classmates.
Anyone who would like to make a contribution can send their money to Cindy. Her phone number is 595-0366.
Any money leftover after the blanket is paid for will sent to Brad's family to use for expenses.
I don't know how many of you actually knew Brad, but he was a wonderful person.
I remember when I was in junior high and he was a sixth grader.
He lived down the street from me and had a band that practiced in his parent's garage.
I would always listen to them play and at one point Brad even taught me to play "Wipe Out" on the drums.
We used to have block parties in our neighborhood and Brad's band would always play so everyone could dance and have fun.
Some of you may remember Brad as the young man laying in the back of his parent's station wagon at the JMHS football games.
Brad broke his leg and couldn't play...but he never missed a game!
Brad will be sadly missed by friends and family. May you rest in peace!

Services will be Thursday, March 10 from 6-8pm at
Shangrila Chapel, Bell Mortuary, on SR 52, east of New Palestine.
There will be a Mason's Service at 7:30pm.
